Frequently asked questions.

1. What issues do you help with?

I work with individuals facing anxiety, life transitions, relationship challenges, identity issues, and more. If you’re unsure whether therapy is right for your situation, feel free to reach out for a quick consultation.

2. What can I expect in my first session?

The first session is a chance for us to get to know each other, conduct and discuss assessments, and conduct a biopsychosocial. We’ll talk about what brings you to therapy, your goals, and how I can support you.

3. How long is each session?

Standard sessions are 50 minutes. If you prefer longer sessions or need something shorter, we can discuss that when scheduling.

4. How often will I need to come?

Most clients begin with weekly sessions, but frequency can be adjusted based on your needs, goals, and progress.

5. Do you offer telehealth/online therapy?

Yes! I offer secure, HIPAA-compliant virtual sessions for clients located in Texas. This is a convenient option if you’re unable to attend in person, as long as you are in state lines.

6. Is therapy confidential?

Yes. Everything we talk about is kept private and confidential, with a few exceptions required by law—such as concerns of serious harm to yourself or others. We’ll review this in more detail during your first session.

7. Do you accept insurance?

I am in-network with a few insurances and accept some EAP. Click here to see the list of insurance I accept.

8. How do I schedule an appointment?

You can book an appointment by using the online scheduler / emailing me / texting. Visit my Contact page for full details.

9. What if I need to cancel a session?

Notice for cancellations must be given within 24 hours of the start oof your appointment. No shows or late cancellations will be subject to a fee.

10. How do I know if you're the right therapist for me?

A good therapeutic relationship is key to progress. I offer a free 15-minute phone consultation so you can ask questions and see how it feels to talk with me. You're not locked in—if it’s not the right fit, I can help you find someone who is.
